Alba Blazing Star Liatris
Alba Blazing Stars Liatris produce tall, narrow spikes of white flowers that bloom in midsummer. White Blazing Star is a hardy perennial that originates from eastern and central North America. This clump-forming plant has long linear leaves of medium green. In summer to early autumn, it bears upright spikes of white flowers that open from the top of the spike down. This selection has a tall, upright habit and may need to be staked. The plant grows 30-36 inches tall and 16-20 inches wide. Receive 10 bulbs in your order. Planting Instructions: It prefers full sun and well-drained, average soil. Avoid poorly drained soils as these plants are susceptible to root rot. Blazing Star is well suited to mixed perennial borders and wildflower gardens. Its flowers attract bees and butterflies and make excellent cut flowers.
