Nikko Blue Hydrangea
Nikko Blue Hydrangea has exceptionally large, true blue blooms on healthy foliage. This plant blooms throughout the summer season. When planted in alkaline soils, blooms also take on purple and pinkish hues. This cold-hardy hydrangea is a mophead variety and is very easy to grow in partial to full shade locations. Planting Instructions: Nikko Hydrangea performs best when planted in organically rich, well-drained soil. Apply mulch to conserve moisture and protect in harsh winters. In the first growing season, water the plant deeply to establish an extensive root system. Blooms on old wood; prune after flowering.
