Elephant Ears

Elephant ears are also known as Colocasia esculenta and will give your garden a tropical look. These giant green leaves are grown from bulbs that are the size of baseballs.  They are perfect for any sunny garden. The leaves are in the shape of an Elephant's ear and each leaf can reach 2-3 feet in length and 1-2 feet in width.  These plants are deer-resistant.  They are suitable for containers and are good for borders. Hardiness Zone 8-10.  Receive 3 bulbs per order.  

Planting Instructions: Does best in planted in sun or part sun in rich moist soil. Provide a sheltered location to protect the large leaves from strong winds. Elephant Ears love water and nutrients, especially in dry summer periods. Planting instructions are included with your order.
